Specifically, environmental issues that may impact our health and, more importantly, the long-term health of our children.
I also want to help you realize that you can make a difference.
Being a mom, seeing the film Inconvenient Truth and the ridiculous amount of bottled water consumption I witnessed in my neighborhood all came together in a perfect storm that was the catalyst for the I Count for myEARTH blog and all that I do.
I’m currently working with Macroscopic Media to help spread the word about an important documentary film, Unacceptable Levels. Read more about it here.
When I can, I write. But it’s never enough. Which brings me to one of my favorite quotes:
Do what you can, with what you’ve got, where you are.
~ Teddy Roosevelt
That’s something we can all do. And together—if we persevere—it will be enough.
And that’s kinda what’s behind the name I Count for myEARTH…
Taking ownership of the earth.
My earth, your earth…
Collectively, we can make a difference.
Each and every one of us counts.
