The average family of four uses 12,775 gallons of water per year just to flush toilet(s). Wow. You can choose to flush only when absolutely necessary (if it’s yellow be mellow), send your existing toilet to the landfill and replace with a dual flush toilet OR save yourself some money with a Dual Flush kit from Being Water that’s Green America approved. It will help you save 8,945 gallons of water per year! That’s a lot of water!

Absolutely. Aside from low-flow showers, dual flush toilets offer the greatest opportunities for water savings in homes–and you really don’t have to change anything. This is one of the no-brainers that everyone should be doing.
